Crescent Exporters. Our place is at 161/1 on Samuel Street. It’s a busy part of the city, and sometimes finding a spot to park even a small scooter is a real headache. We’ve got Post Box No. 5232 for the mail, which gets quite full because we deal with a lot of letters and documents. The building itself is an older one. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long—the horns, people shouting, and the general bustle. It keeps us awake, that’s for sure. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We aren’t really into decorating or making things look pretty for visitors. We’re usually too busy making sure the shipments are ready and that nothing got missed in the paperwork. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. Sometimes we stay late when a big order is going out, and the street finally gets a little quiet then. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, so we know the local chai wallah and the other folks on the block quite well. It’s a practical setup. We don’t need anything fancy to get the job done. Just the space to work and a good connection to the port and the post. That’s about all there is to us over here on Samuel Street.
