Consulated General Of Canada

We are way up on the 21st floor of Tower-2 in the Indiabulls Finance Centre. It’s right on Senapati Bapat Marg in Elphinstine Road West. It’s quite a climb if the elevators are busy, which they usually are during the morning rush. You see a lot of people in suits around here, but it's just another office building at the end of the day. From the windows, you can see quite a bit of the city, though mostly it's just rooftops and more traffic down on the road. The street outside is always packed. Senapati Bapat Marg never really seems to sleep. Getting here can be a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the other side of town. We spend a lot of time dealing with various papers and people coming in for help at the Consulated General Of Canada. It’s a bit formal because of the nature of the work, but we try to keep things moving. The air conditioning is always on high because it gets stuffy with so many people. It’s a clean space, maybe a bit too quiet sometimes compared to the noise outside. People usually come in looking a bit stressed about their documents. We just sit at our desks and try to get through the stack. It’s a lot of routine. Elphinstine Road has changed a lot since all these big towers went up. It feels very different from the old streets.
