Computer Shop

My brother and I started Computer Shop a while back because we liked messing around with hardware. We are located over at 33-C on Lokhande Marg in Chembur West. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Mostly, it is just a bunch of tools, spare cables, and monitors stacked up. People from around the neighborhood drop by when their laptops won't turn on or when they need a specific part that’s hard to find. We spend most of our days looking at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working right. Sometimes it is a quick fix, other times we have to keep the machine for a couple of days. Mumbai dust gets into everything, so we do a lot of cleaning out fans and heat sinks. We don't have a big staff, it’s just us here. If the shutter is up, we are open. Chembur is a busy spot and we've seen it change a lot over the years, but computers still break down just as much as they used to. We keep some basic stuff in stock, like mice and keyboards, so people can just grab what they need. If you are walking down Lokhande Marg, you'll see our sign. It’s a simple setup. We just try to get things back in working order so people can get back to their own jobs or studies. We usually stay until the work is done for the day.
