Computer Sales & Service

You can find our shop, Computer Sales & Service, at R 4 in the Vishwa Kutir Society over in Dadar West. It is not a big store like you see in the malls. It is a small room that is basically packed from floor to ceiling with computer parts. We have shelves full of old motherboards, boxes of cables, and stacks of monitors that we use for testing. There is a long workbench along one wall where we do all the repair work. Usually, it is covered in screws and screwdrivers because we always have a couple of machines open at once. We’ve been fixing computers for the people around here for many years. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are just neighbors or people who heard about us from a friend. It’s just a two-man operation. We don't wear uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable for working under desks and moving heavy towers around. The society is quiet enough, which is nice. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting software or replacing broken screens. It can be frustrating work sometimes, but we like the feeling of getting a dead computer to turn back on. We also sell some parts if people want to build their own systems. It’s a very simple, honest business. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just fix things and help people out with their tech problems whenever they stop by.
