Computer Gallery

You can find us at 384 Lamington Road, right in the middle of all the noise and traffic of Grant Road. We are situated in the Dongre Building, which is directly opposite the New India Co Operative Bank. Computer Gallery isn’t a large showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s more of a functional space where we keep all sorts of parts, cables, and components stacked up on shelves. Lamington Road is always buzzing with people looking for electronics, and our shop is just one small part of that massive energy. Most days, we are busy testing screens or trying to find a specific cable that a customer needs. The air in here usually smells a bit like dust and warm plastic from all the machines running. We don't have a lot of room to move around, especially when a new shipment arrives and boxes are sitting in the aisle. The bank across the street serves as a good landmark because people often get lost trying to find specific numbers on this road. We’ve seen the technology change from bulky monitors to thin laptops, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We just sit at our benches, work through the repairs, and talk to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a bit chaotic, but it is our version of normal in a very busy part of the city. We keep the doors open and just get on with it.
