Compu Rx

Compu Rx is based in Mulund East, specifically at 3/305 on North Main Road. This part of Mulund is always moving. The road outside is a main artery, so there is never a quiet moment. Inside our shop, it is a different kind of mess. We have motherboards, old monitors, and tangled cables everywhere. It looks like a bit of a disaster to an outsider, but we generally know where everything is. Fixing computers is what happens here every day. People bring in laptops that won’t turn on or desktops that are making strange clicking noises. We sit at the back benches under the tube lights and poke around with screwdrivers. It can be frustrating when a part doesn't fit or a software update takes forever. The dust is a constant battle because of the traffic on North Main Road. We have a small counter where people leave their machines and we give them a handwritten slip. It is a practical place. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans moving the warm air around. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come in to complain about the internet or just to chat. We try to keep up with the work but the pile of machines never seems to get smaller. It is just the daily routine of life in Mulund East for us, trying to get things running again.
