N. S. Fashion

N. S. Fashion is located on the first floor of the Grants Building Annexe, which is Shop No. 45. The address is 19/A B. R. K. Marg in Colaba. If you’ve ever walked around Colaba, you know how packed it gets with tourists and locals. Our building is one of those old ones with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy bags. We’re on the first floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is always moving. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just shelves and racks. We don’t have much room for a lounge or anything like that. It’s a practical space for clothing work. B. R. K. Marg is a busy stretch, and the noise from the horns and the street vendors comes right through the windows. We’ve grown used to it over time. The shop is small, and sometimes it feels even smaller when we get new stock delivered. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it works for us. The building has that old Mumbai feel, a bit dusty in the corners but solid. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know the other shopkeepers in the annexe. It’s a good community and we get by just fine with our daily routine here.
