Delmonte Fashions

Our workplace is located at Plot No. 10 on 2nd Pasta Lane. This is just off S. B. Rd. in a part of the city that always feels alive. Delmonte Fashions is basically just a group of us making clothes. We have a few rooms filled with different materials and tools. It’s not a fancy place to look at. There are no shiny floors or glass walls here. We focus on the practical side of garment making. That means a lot of measuring and double-checking everything. We get our supplies delivered to the lane, which is always a bit of a scramble. We don't have a big staff, so everyone helps out with whatever is needed. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us does it. If a box needs moving, we all pitch in. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the clothes are put together right. The mornings are usually our busiest time when we try to get most of the heavy work done before the heat kicks in. We’ve been in this building for a long time now. It’s become a second home for us. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep up with the work.
