Cocoshope

I spend a lot of my day at B/103 Sweta Shelter. This place is tucked into Jankalyan Nagar, which is a busy part of Malad West if you know the area. Early mornings are best because the sun comes right through the windows. Cocoshope has been running from this spot for a while now. Our building is one of those typical residential-commercial mixes you see all over Mumbai. Since it’s not a fancy glass office, it just feels like a regular workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the lift in Sweta Shelter is a bit slow, so I just take the stairs to the first floor instead. Outside on the street, Jankalyan Nagar is always full of people moving around, especially in the evenings. You can hear the autos honking and kids playing nearby most of the time. Inside, we keep things pretty simple. There are desks, some chairs, and stacks of papers that always need sorting. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to open the door and sees what they need. It is a practical setup that works for us. Malad West has changed a lot recently, but this corner feels the same. Around 4 PM, we usually order tea from the stall downstairs. You get to know the neighbors by their first names here. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay organized. There is no corporate ladder, just us working in this room.
