Our workshop is at 35A on the Ring Road, right by Kilikori Village in the Maharani Bagh area. It is a strange spot because one side is the fast-moving traffic of the Ring Road and the other is the tighter, older feel of the village. The dust from the road is a constant battle for us, and we are always cleaning the glass counters. The shop is narrow but deep, with the back area dedicated to the more complicated repairs. We have some heavy-duty workbenches that have been scratched up over the years. The walls are lined with pegboards where we hang our tools and various cables. It is not the quietest place to work, especially with the trucks rumbling past, but you get used to the vibration after a while. We have a few old monitors set up to test CPUs, and they are almost always running some kind of test. Sometimes we have to move things around just to make space for a customer to stand. The Kilikori side of the shop has a different vibe, a bit more relaxed. We have a small corner where we keep our bags and coats. It is a practical, hardworking space without any of the fancy trimmings you might see in a mall. We just show up, open the shutters, and start working on whatever is on the list for that day. Our coffee mug collection is getting out of hand on the back shelf near the sink.
