Clay Hot Pots

If you look for us, we are in the Shramjeevan Building, specifically Office 209 in the B-5 wing. It’s right behind that big Indian Oil petrol pump, which makes it easy for the delivery drivers to find the turn. The building is older and has that solid feel to it. Our office is up on the second floor. It’s usually quiet inside but you can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the inventory of pots. There is always a bit of earth or dust on the floors no matter how much we sweep because of the nature of what we handle. It is just the way it is. We have a couple of small tables and a few shelves stacked with folders. It’s not the kind of place where you’d see a lot of decorations. We focus more on the actual work of getting the clay items packed and sent out. The lift in the building is sometimes a bit moody, so we often just take the stairs to save time. The tea stall downstairs is where most of our neighbors hang out during lunch. It’s a decent place to work from. We’ve been in this office for some time and the landlord is okay with us. Nothing too exciting happens, just the daily routine of checking the stock and talking to suppliers on the phone until the day ends.
