Classic Luggage

Our shop is Classic Luggage, located at Shop No 54 in the Manavsthal Height building. We’re right on Marol Military Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of bags and suitcases. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes. We keep the glass doors open to let in a breeze, but that also brings in all the street dust. We spend a lot of time dusting off the inventory. There’s a small counter at the back where we handle the cash and talk to people. It’s a local spot, so we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us in the shop every day. The light from the street makes the front of the store bright, while the back stays a bit dim. We’ve got an old stool that everyone fights over when their legs get tired. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a little to be heard. It’s a simple life, selling luggage to people going on trips or moving house. We take pride in just knowing where every single bag is located in the stack. It’s a small, honest shop in a very busy part of the city for many years.
