Pratham Exports

Pratham Exports is located right in the middle of all the action at the Industrial Ass. Building in Churchgate. If you know Mumbai at all, you know how hectic it gets around this area every single day. Our office is on the B-6 floor, and it is usually stacked high with folders, samples, and bits of paper. Being so close to the station means there is always a constant flow of people coming and going outside. We handle exports, which sounds like a big operation, but mostly it is just us on the phone or the computer trying to track where things are. The building itself has seen better days, but it is sturdy enough and puts us close to everything we need. We spend a lot of time checking documents and making sure the boxes get where they need to go on time. It can get pretty cramped in the office when a new set of samples comes in. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for calls to go through or for people to show up. The view out the window is just more buildings and the street noise drifting up from below. It is not a quiet place to work, but it feels right for what we do. We have had the same staff for ages, and we all just kind of know the routine by now. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs.
