Charisma

This location of Charisma is tucked away on Dadi Shet Agiry Lane in Andheri. It’s a different vibe from the industrial side of things. The lane is narrow, and if a big car comes through, everyone has to move to the side. Our space here isn’t very large, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. We spend our days mostly sitting and going through the tasks. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done. We know the people in the shops next door, and we usually say hello when we arrive in the morning. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few spots. We don't really mind it though. It feels like home after being here so long. We have a small desk for the paperwork and a shelf for the files. Sometimes we lose track of time because there aren't many windows. We usually just eat our tiffins together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a quiet way to spend the day. We don't have any big advertisements or anything. Most people who come here already know where we are. We just keep the door open and stay busy until it’s time to lock up and go home. There is always a lot of laundry hanging from the balconies above the lane, which gives the place some character. We just keep things moving slowly.
