Afsana Fashion

Our little place is called Afsana Fashion, and you can find us at Gala No. C 116 on Saki Vihar Road in Chandivali. It’s a busy area with a lot of other small businesses around us. The gala itself is basically filled to the ceiling with rolls of fabric and various sewing supplies. We spend most of our time sitting at the machines or measuring out cloth on the big central table. It gets a bit hot in here during the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that help a bit. We don't really have a showroom or anything polished like that. If you come by, you’ll see the reality of how clothes get made. There’s thread everywhere and the floor needs a good sweep more often than not. We handle all sorts of garments, mostly just whatever the local people need or what we’ve been asked to put together for the season. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and we know the other folks in the neighboring galas. It’s a hard-working environment, and we’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. We don't use any fancy management software; we just keep track of things in a notebook. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Saki Vihar Road is always humming with activity, and we’re just one small part of it at C 116.
