We are located in the Inorbit Mall in Malad West. Specifically, we are in Shop No G 44/45 on the ground floor. Being in a mall like this means it is always bright and there is always music playing from the speakers in the hallways. It is a different vibe than a street shop. We have to keep things looking somewhat tidy because people are always walking past the glass windows. But if you look behind the counter, it is still just a regular studio with stuff piled up. We handle a lot of fashion items every day. Mumbai is a fast place, and Malad West is especially busy. We get here early to open up before the mall shoppers arrive. The Link Road outside is always jammed with traffic. We do not really have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It gets tiring standing on the tiled floors all day, but we are used to it by now. We do not do much in the way of selling ourselves; the shop is just there for people to see. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to suppliers or checking the stock levels in the back room. It is a lot of work to keep up with the pace of the fashion scene from this little spot on the ground floor. We just keep our heads down and get through the day.
