Cardoz General Store

Cardoz General Store is located at Shop No 34 in Building No 13, over in Nea Bandra West. We are right next to Bob Tailer, which has been there as long as I can remember. It is a small shop, and we have stuff piled up from the floor to the ceiling. We try to stock everything that people might need, like milk, bread, soaps, and little household items. Bandra is a very busy area, and there is always a lot of foot traffic outside our door. Being in Building No 13 means we know almost everyone who lives upstairs. It is a lot of "good mornings" and "good evenings" all day long. The shop isn't very modern. We have old wooden shelves that have been here since we opened. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to move around because of the boxes of stock waiting to be put away. We don't have a computer to ring things up; we just do it the old-fashioned way. It gets quite warm in the shop during the afternoon, so we usually have a small fan blowing on us behind the counter. My family has been running this place for years, and it is a lot of long hours, but we like being part of the neighborhood. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights outside. It is just a simple shop where you can get what you need and have a quick chat with whoever is behind the counter.
