Canheart

Canheart is based in the Kothari Industrial Estate, specifically inside the Shankarbhai Compound on I.B. Patel Road. If you know Goregaon East, you know this part of town is always moving. Our workshop is one of those places where you can hear the hammers and the metal clinking from the street. We do a lot of work with cans and metal containers. It’s loud, and it’s sweaty, but we like it that way. The compound is a bit cramped, so parking a big truck can be a real headache sometimes. We usually have to coordinate with the other units nearby to make sure no one gets blocked in. There are a few cats that hang around the workshop, and we feed them scraps from our tiffins. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we know all the other business owners on this road. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, and we’ll order some tea and snacks from the guy on the corner. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have many formal rules. Everyone just knows what they need to do to keep things running. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every single week of the year. We are just simple people making our way.
