We are set up on the ground floor of Gulam House, which is at number 227 on 21st Road in Khar West. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Subhangan Hotel in Dandpada. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of character. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by and for us to move goods in and out. We’ve been running Camouflaage Fashion Pvt. Ltd. from this spot for a while now. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. We deal with all sorts of fashion items and there’s usually something new being worked on every week. Khar West is a great place to be because there is so much going on around us. You have the local markets and small shops everywhere. Our day usually starts with checking the latest samples and talking to our suppliers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that’s just how the fashion business works. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It’s more like a workshop where everyone chips in. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with threads and scraps of cloth everywhere, but we clean up eventually. We like the fact that we are tucked away in Dandpada. It feels more real than being in a big shopping mall. We just take things one day at a time.
