Cambro Nilkamal Pvt. Ltd. is based at Nilkamal House on Road No. 14 in the MIDC area of Andheri East. This is a very industrial part of Mumbai, so there are always big trucks moving around and the sound of machinery from nearby factories. Our building is quite large, specifically numbers 77-78, and it houses both our office space and some of the areas where we keep our inventory. We deal with a lot of heavy-duty items like crates, bins, and other storage solutions. The atmosphere is very practical and focuses on getting the goods out to where they need to go. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day; it’s more about wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking back and forth between the desks and the storage sections. The fans are always running to try and keep the heat down during the summer months. We have a lot of staff who handle the logistics and the accounts, and things can get pretty loud when everyone is busy at the same time. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, so we usually just gather in a small corner to eat our tiffins. It is a very grounded workplace where we focus on the reality of manufacturing and moving physical products every single day. The work is constant and keeps us on our toes.
