C. Tejpal & Co. is situated in Himalaya House, specifically at 104/5, on Palton Road. Himalaya House is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history. Our office is up on one of the floors, and you have to take the lift which sometimes takes its own sweet time. Palton Road is always buzzing with people and shops. It is a very busy part of the city. We have been here for many years, and our office still has that old-school feel to it. We have heavy wooden desks and filing cabinets that are full of records. We don't believe in changing things just for the sake of it. We do our daily business here, mostly paperwork and talking to clients on the phone. It’s a small team, and we all know how the others like their tea. The windows look out over the street, and it’s quite a view of the crowds below. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with all the honking, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any flashy signs or modern furniture. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning and do our best until it’s time to go home. We’ve known some of our neighbors in the building for decades. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. We just keep things moving along steadily every day.
