C. Mahendra Exports

C. Mahendra Exports is based in the Panchratana building, specifically at No. 1204. If you know the Opera House area in Mumbai, you know how incredibly crowded and fast-paced it is. Panchratana is like a city within a city, full of people in the diamond and export trade. Our office is one of many in that tall building. We deal with exports, which means a lot of checking documents and making sure shipments are ready to go. It’s a small space for the amount of work we do, but we make it work. The elevators in the building are always slow, so we’ve learned to be patient. Most days are a blur of phone calls and quick lunches at our desks. There’s always someone coming or going with a briefcase or a package. It’s a high-energy environment, typical for this part of Mumbai. We don't have time for a lot of fluff; we just focus on the trade and the numbers. Everyone here has a specific job to do, and we’ve all been working together for quite a while now. The noise from the street filtered through the windows is just part of the background music for us. We just keep our heads down, handle our exports, and try to navigate the busy Opera House life as best as we can every single day while keeping things moving through the 12th floor office.
