You can find Bombay Rayon Fashion Ltd over at the Oberoi Gardens Estate in Chandivali. We are situated on the first floor of the D wing. Chandivali is a very busy hub, and the area around Farms Road is always filled with activity. It is mostly concrete buildings and big industrial spaces around here. Our office and the work area are basically the same space. We spend the bulk of our day surrounded by massive stacks of fabric and folders full of different designs and paperwork. It is never a quiet place to be. There is always a phone ringing somewhere or someone calling out about a late delivery or a missing sample. We handle many different types of fabrics and styles, so the inventory can get a bit messy if we do not stay organized. The walk up to the first floor is something we do many times a day. We do not have any expensive furniture or a reception desk that looks like it belongs in a hotel. It is just rows of desks, chairs, and many samples hanging on metal racks. The tea seller comes around twice a day, and that is usually when we take a small break from the stress. Working in Chandivali means dealing with a lot of traffic and crowds, but it is where the garment trade happens. We just try to keep everything moving and make sure the orders are processed like they are supposed to be.
