We're based out of 27/A Krishna Kunj on Pipe Road. This is over in Kurla West. If you know anything about Kurla, you know it’s one of the most crowded and lively places you can possibly be in the city. Pipe Road has its own specific rhythm and noise, and we’ve been a part of it for quite a long time. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside or the inside. It's just a functional space where we handle all the import and export paperwork. There are always cardboard boxes coming in or going out, and the office phone rings far more than I’d like it to. We deal with a lot of different types of goods. It’s mostly about tracking various shipments and making sure the documents are right so things get where they need to go. Kurla West can be very loud, especially with the trains nearby and the constant traffic, but you eventually get used to the background hum. I spend a lot of my time staring at the computer checking shipping schedules. It’s a lot of back and forth with customs brokers and different logistics people. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s just a small, dedicated team here at Krishna Kunj. We know all our neighbors and the local chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea. Some days are stressful, but we just take it as it comes.
