Blue Apperal

We have been working out of Gala No. 3 for a few years now. It is tucked inside the Bukhari Compound, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Khairani Road is always a mess with traffic, especially in the afternoons when the trucks are moving. Saki Naka has changed a lot, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. Inside, it's mostly stacks of cloth and the sound of the machines running. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans on full blast all day. My cousin helps out with the cutting, and we have a few guys who handle the stitching part of the business. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the name Blue Apperal. Most people find us because they know the area or saw us while walking to the temple. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized in such a tight space. We drink a lot of tea from the stall at the corner. The floor is usually covered in scrap fabric and thread by the time we close up for the night. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's just a regular place where we get the work done and head home. Nothing too special about it, just our daily routine here in the compound.
