We are over in Prabhadevi, specifically at Shree Sai Complex. It’s on the seventh floor, room 705. Plot 587. It gets quite busy around here because of the Parel S T Depot. You can hear the buses and the traffic all day long. Sayani Road is always moving. The office itself is just a regular workspace where we get things done. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now. Most days start with the climb up or waiting for the lift which can be slow sometimes. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that. Just a solid building in a part of Mumbai that never really sleeps. We handle our apparel work from this single room. There are stacks of things around. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. People just come in and we talk across the desks. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in but we manage. The locality has plenty of tea stalls and small places to eat which is good for the staff. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We just focus on the orders and making sure the counts are right. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t go for anything too flashy here. Just keeping the business running day by day from this floor and making sure the apparel is ready for whoever needs it.
