We’ve been tucked away in Amit Industrial Estate for a while now. It’s on Dr. SS Rao Road, right near Gandhi Hospital in Parel. Most days here start early because the traffic around Parel can get pretty messy if you don’t beat it. Our space is on the third floor, room 310. It isn’t fancy or anything like those glass offices you see in the city. It’s a real workshop. You can hear the sounds of the machines and people moving boxes all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We know the neighbors well, and the guys at the tea stall downstairs see us every morning. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone to write fancy speeches. It’s just us working through piles of fabric and making sure everything is sorted out. Being near the hospital means it’s a busy area, always people walking by and cars honking. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big shipment going out. We’ve grown used to the quirks of this old building. The lift is slow, and the hallways are narrow, but it works for us. It’s where we do everything from the first cut to the final pack. It’s just a plain, honest place where we spend our time getting work done.
