Our place is at number 24 in Maharashtra, India. It’s a modest spot on a narrow street that doesn’t get much through traffic. This is nice because it stays a bit quieter than the main roads. The building is quite old and the paint on the outside has started to peel away. Inside, we have a simple setup with a few workbenches and some old shelves where we keep our supplies. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a couple of big windows that let in some natural light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. There’s a small radio that we keep on most of the day, usually tuned to a local station. We don't have many visitors, so the place is usually just the few of us working away. We have a routine where we start early and take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its strongest. The fan wobbles a bit on the ceiling and makes a clicking sound that you stop noticing after a while. We keep our tools in a wooden box that has been around as long as the business has. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by the door, and we don't mind the company. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy signs. People just know our address and come by when they need to see us. It’s a quiet life and we just do our work. That is about it.
