Bhoomi Fine Sales

Bhoomi Fine Sales is located at 2/C/5 in the G.B. Apartment complex over in Saibaba Nagar, Borivali West. Working out of an apartment building is different from a regular office. You see the same families every day and the kids playing in the compound while you're trying to talk to clients. We use one of the rooms as our main office and the rest of the space is for storage. It’s a bit tight when we get a new shipment in, and we have to move the furniture around to make space. Borivali is always a bit of a climb if you're coming from the station, but it’s a good neighborhood. Our sales work involves a lot of phone calls and some walking around to meet people. We don't have any polished brochures or a big corporate website. Usually, we just tell people what we have and show them some samples. It’s a very direct way of selling. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, and we have to carry boxes up the stairs, which isn't fun in the Mumbai humidity. We don't have any fancy titles here. Everyone just does whatever needs doing, whether it's cleaning the desk or writing an invoice. It’s a small, family-style business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep our customers happy and the business running. It gets dark early in the winter when the shadows hit the compound.
