Bhawani Utensils Industries Ltd.

Our place, Bhawani Utensils Industries Ltd., is located at V-8 in the Kasturi Industrial Estate. Bhyander (East) can be a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from. The estate itself is quite crowded with different units making all sorts of things. We focus on our utensils here. You can usually hear the sound of metal clanking if you walk past our door. It’s not a quiet job. We have a few rows of machines and a space where we pack things into boxes. The address, V-8, is easy enough to find once you get inside the main gate of Kasturi. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes we run out of space because of all the raw materials coming in. We just stack things higher when that happens. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. The office part is just a small desk in the corner where the bills get paid. We don’t have air conditioning in the main area, just the big open shutters to let the air in. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve been in the Dist Thane area for a good while now. People know us as the place that makes the metalware. It’s simple work, but it’s what we know. There’s always a lot to do before the day ends. We just keep the machines moving and the boxes stacked. It is noisy and busy, but that's just life here.
