Our little place is tucked away at 8A in Natraj Market, right in the middle of the Malad West SSI area. If you’ve ever walked around the 5th Block or the 2nd Cross, you know how packed it gets. There are people and goods moving everywhere. We deal with bedsheets and towels and that kind of stuff. We mostly just stock what people in the neighborhood need for their homes. Being opposite Harihar makes it easy for people to find us. Still, the market itself can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The shop isn't anything special to look at. It is just shelves piled high with fabrics. We spend a lot of time folding things back up after customers have a look. It’s usually quite dusty because of all the cloth and the traffic outside. That’s just how it is in this part of Malad. Most days we are just here from morning until the market shuts down. We talk to regulars or check the new stock that comes in. We don't do much fancy advertising. People just know we are here because we've been in this spot for a while. Sometimes the rains make it hard to keep things dry. We manage with plastic sheets and a bit of luck. It's just a regular local business. We try to keep up with the daily rush of the market life and stay busy.
