Madeena Garment

Our shop is at number 76/A in Rajeev Gandhi Nagar. We are right by the Darga Cross Road in the Sonapur area of Bhandup West. It is a very busy neighborhood with people walking by all the time. Inside, you will see a lot of fabric rolls and sewing machines. The sound of the needles clicking is constant throughout the day. We have stacks of cut cloth waiting to be stitched into clothes. It’s not a very big room, so things can get a bit cluttered with threads and scraps on the floor. We have a couple of large tables for cutting the patterns. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We drink our tea while sitting among the colorful materials. In the summer, we keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze, but it’s still quite warm with all the machines running. We don't have a fancy display window. We just show the garments to anyone who comes in. Sometimes the neighborhood kids run past the door and make a lot of noise. We are used to the rhythm of this place. We just focus on getting the stitching right and finishing the batches on time. It is a simple life of making clothes in a part of the city that never seems to stop moving.
