Khushi Apparels

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 12-13 in the P.N. Kothari Industrial Estate. It is pretty easy to find if you look for the Asian Paints building on LBS Marg, as we are right near there. At Khushi Apparels, things are usually pretty loud because of the industrial setting. There is always some kind of machine running or a truck unloading something nearby. The space we have is mostly taken up by long cutting tables and rows of sewing machines. It is not a place for sitting around. We are usually busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning until we head home. The floor is often covered in bits of thread and fabric scraps, which we try to sweep up, but it just piles back up again. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. Most of our business happens right there on the floor or over a quick cup of tea near the entrance. The staff here are hardworking people who have been doing this for years, so they don’t need much direction. LBS Marg can be a real pain with the traffic, especially in the evenings when we are trying to get our deliveries out. We just try to stay focused on the garments and make sure the stitching is decent. It’s a straightforward way of working without any unnecessary fluff. We just make the clothes and try to keep up with the orders we get.
