You’ll find us at number 24 in the Sarvoday Trust Building on Gokhale Road, over in Dadar West. It’s a busy part of town, especially being so close to the station. Our shop is usually full of people coming in to see what we have in stock. We deal in retail, so there’s always something to unpack or a shelf that needs straightening. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a lot of customers at once, but we make it work. The building itself is older, which gives it a bit of a lived-in feel. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and take our lunch breaks. It’s not fancy at all—just some metal shelves and a few chairs. We’ve been here long enough that we know the regulars who pass by every morning. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they’re already in the neighborhood or they’ve heard about us from a friend. We have our good days and our bad days, like when the delivery truck is late or the rain leaks a little near the front door. But mostly, it’s just us doing our best to keep the shelves full and the customers happy. There's a little bell on the door that rings every time someone walks in, which helps us know when someone needs help. The afternoon sun hits the front window quite hard.
