Bhagat International Pvt Ltd is located at 10, 1st Floor of Harlalka Bhavan. We are right on Sitaram Poddar Marg, which is a very crowded street filled with all kinds of traders and shops. Our office is a typical Mumbai setup where every inch of space is used for something, usually for stacking up old files or boxes of samples. The noise from the street never really stops, so we have gotten used to shouting a bit over the sound of car horns. We have been operating from Harlalka Bhavan for many years now. Most of our work involves import and export logistics, which means we spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to customs clearing agents. It is a lot of tedious work, checking numbers and making sure the codes are right, but that is the nature of the business. We have a tiny pantry where we make our own tea and coffee, and that is usually the busiest spot in the office. Even though we are a private limited company, it feels more like a small family shop because most of the staff have been here for a decade or more. We do not have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the shipments go out on time and the paperwork is clean. Some days are slow and we just chat about the news, while other days are so hectic we barely have time to eat our tiffin.
