We are located at 112 Mint Road. It’s very close to Fort Market, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. We mostly deal with boat supplies and things people need when they are out on the water. It gets pretty hot inside the shop during the summer months. We have shelves full of metal parts and different types of gear for sailors. Usually, someone is in the back room sorting through the new shipments that come in. We’ve been in this particular spot for a while now. People often stop by on their way down to the docks. It’s not a very big place, but we try to pack a lot of inventory in. The concrete floor has some old oil stains from the parts we move around. Sometimes the phone rings and nobody picks up because we're busy helping a customer at the front counter. We just try to keep what people need on hand so they don't have to wait. It’s not a fancy store. Just a regular shop near the market. We see the same faces every single week. Some of these guys have been coming here since before I even started working. We just sell what we have and try to keep the business going. If you’re looking for something specific, you might have to dig through a bin or two yourself. That’s just the way it works here. The street outside is always noisy with carts and bikes. It is a good spot.
