Berrhan Knits

You can find Berrhan Knits over in Andheri East, specifically at units 306 and 307 in the Alpine Industrial Estate. We are situated on Military Road in the Marol area. It’s a busy industrial park, so there is always the sound of machinery and people moving around. Being on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the noise on the street, but it’s still a very active place. We have a couple of units knocked together to give us enough room for all the knitting work and the inventory. It’s not the most modern building in Mumbai, but it serves our purpose well. We spend our days surrounded by yarn, needles, and piles of finished goods. The light in the workspace is okay, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. Marol is a great location because it’s close to a lot of suppliers, even if the traffic on Military Road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We aren't a big factory with thousands of workers, just a dedicated group of people who know how to handle the machines. Most of us have been here for years, and we have a routine that works. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just focus on making sure every knit piece that leaves here is done right. It’s hard work, but we like the results. We just keep our heads down and knit.
