Below Banyan

We are over here at Century Mill in Adarsh Nagar, specifically at 156 A. It is a bit of an older building but it has character. Most days, you can hear the street noise from downstairs, but we’ve gotten used to it. The space isn't huge. We have a few desks pushed together and some plants that actually managed to stay alive this month. People walk by the door all the time looking for other units because the numbering in this block is a little confusing. We spend a lot of time just keeping things moving. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody really has the time to move all the furniture out of the way for that right now. We drink way too much tea during the afternoon slump. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, so we just sit and talk or tidy up the files until it comes back on. It’s a pretty normal spot. There is a small tea stall just around the corner that everyone goes to. You get to know the neighbors after a while. Most of us have been around here long enough that we don’t even notice the traffic anymore. It’s just how it is working in this part of town. We keep our heads down and get the work done, and then we head home like everyone else in the city.
