Beautiful Garments- Export Division

This is the export division of Beautiful Garments, and we are based in the same Tejura Chambers building at 365-367 V.P. Road. We are quite close to the Opera House, which is a famous landmark in this part of town. Our side of the business handles the orders that go further away. Because of that, our space is usually full of shipping crates and big rolls of packing tape. The hallways of the building are often narrow, so moving the big boxes out can be a bit of a challenge. We have to time it right so we don't block the other tenants. The Opera House area is always packed with cars and people, so getting the delivery trucks in and out takes some patience. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the counts are exactly right before anything leaves the door. It’s a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting, nothing like the glamorous fashion world people imagine. The air in the office is usually a bit dusty from all the cardboard, but we don't mind it much. We have a small team here who really knows the ins and outs of the shipping process. Most of us have been here long enough to know exactly which floorboards creak when you walk on them. It’s a practical, busy office where we focus on getting the garments where they need to go. We just keep our heads down and work hard.
