Our office is located in the One Bkc Business Mall in Bandra East. It’s a big building, quite different from the smaller shops in other parts of the city. Being in Bandra means there is always something going on outside. We handle fashion business from here. Even though the building looks very modern and polished, we try to keep things grounded inside our space. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at samples sent over from the factories. It’s a lot of logistics and planning. We have a small crew that handles the daily tasks. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of new samples coming in, as boxes tend to pile up in the corners. We aren't really about the glitz and glamour you might expect from a fashion company. We’re more focused on the practical side of things, like making sure the sizes are right and the colors are what they’re supposed to be. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is moving along. The air conditioning in the mall is nice, especially when it’s hot outside. We’ve been in this spot for a while and it’s a convenient place for our staff to get to. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and try to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. It’s a professional environment but we still talk and joke around like any other workplace. We're just trying to get things right and keep moving forward.
