Our little spot is tucked away on Dr. S. B. Path in Ballard Estate. If you know the area, it's mostly big old buildings and offices, so having a clothing place here is a bit different. We started out because we noticed people working nearby wanted something nice to wear that wasn't just a basic suit or uniform. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the racks. Most days it’s just us hanging up new arrivals or helping someone find a size that actually fits. Ballard Estate gets really quiet on the weekends, but during the week, it's a lot of rushing around. We see a lot of the same people coming in during their lunch breaks or right after they finish work. It's nice to have regular chats with them while they browse. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on these narrow roads, which can be a bit of a headache. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People usually just find us by walking past or hearing about it from a colleague at the office. We keep the mirrors clean and the clothes folded, and that’s about it. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got some stools if you need to sit down for a minute. We just like clothes and being part of the daily routine here in this historic part of town.
