Badri Paint & Hardware Store

Badri Paint & Hardware Store has been sitting here at 101 Bapu Khote Street for quite some time. If you know Masjid Bunder West, you know how crowded and narrow these streets can be. It is a real old-school market area. Our shop is packed with tins of paint and all sorts of tools. It is not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. There are boxes stacked up and brushes hanging from the ceiling, but we know where everything is kept. People come in looking for a specific bolt or a certain shade of blue, and we usually find it after a bit of digging around. It is a family-run kind of thing. We do not have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. It gets pretty hot in the summer with all the metal around. Most of our customers are contractors or people living in the old buildings nearby who need to fix a leak or freshen up a room. We just open up early and stay until the work is finished. Masjid Bunder is always noisy, with handcarts and trucks moving around constantly. It can be stressful, but it is home for us. We do not spend money on big ads because the neighbors already know where we are. We just try to give people what they need so they can get back to their jobs. That is how we have always done it on Bapu Khote Street.
