We have been running things from Suite 302 in the Navjivan Building for a long time now. Kazi Sayad Street is usually packed with trucks and people moving boxes, so it gets pretty loud outside our windows. It is a busy part of the city but we like being right in the middle of all that energy. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, chairs, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We spend most of our time on the phone or handling documents. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens more than we'd like. We have been in this spot for years and know all the shopkeepers nearby. Usually, we grab tea from the stall downstairs around four o'clock. That is when we catch up on what is happening in the market. We do not go for flashy decorations or big signs. Most people who deal with us know where to find us. Working in international trade means we are often here late waiting for calls from different time zones. It is just the way it goes. We try to keep our heads down and get the work done without making a fuss. The building itself has seen better days, but it serves us well. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
