Asia Trading

You can find Asia Trading over at unit 32/C in the Kailash Prabhat building, which is at number 173. It’s a sturdy old building that has seen a lot of different businesses come and go over the years. We’ve been here for a good while, though. Our office is on one of the middle floors, and the elevator can be a bit temperamental, so many of us just take the stairs instead. It’s a simple setup. We have a few desks, some landline phones that ring more than they should, and piles of invoices that never seem to get smaller. Trading is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We spend hours on the phone talking to people all over the region, trying to get the best deals for the goods we move. It’s not a fancy job, and we don't wear suits to work. Usually, it’s just casual clothes and a lot of hard work. We have a small window that looks out over the street, and it’s nice to watch the city go by when things get a bit too quiet inside the office. We aren't trying to be the biggest trading house out there. We just want to run a reliable business where people know they can reach us when they need something. Sometimes the days are long, especially when we have a big shipment arriving late at night, but we don't mind the extra effort. It’s just how we do things here. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which helps.
