Ashvina Trading Co.

You can find Ashvina Trading Co. at Shop No. 9 in the Hastagiri Apartments on Ashok Chakravarti Road. We are right there on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to stop by, though most of our business happens over the phone or through messages. The shop isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with boxes of whatever we are trading at the moment, and there's just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for guests. We’ve been in Kandivli East for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a friendly enough neighborhood, even if it gets crowded during the festive seasons. Most of the day is spent checking prices and talking to transporters to see where the goods are. There isn't much of a fancy décor here; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it’s on high. We usually have the door open to let in some air, and it gets dusty with the window open, but we just wipe the desks down every morning. It’s just me and a helper most days, keeping track of the ledger and making sure the deliveries go out on time. We don’t do any big advertising; people usually just find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign.
