Asha Trading Corporation

Our business is based in the Ashish Building on Salapas Road, right in the Kalbadevi area. We are near the GPO and the Rambhya Medical Agency, which are well-known landmarks around here. Trading involves a lot of back-and-forth communication and keeping track of stocks. We deal with various goods that come in and out of our storage. The building is in a very busy part of the city where the streets are always packed with carts and people. It can be a bit chaotic outside, but inside we try to keep things as organized as possible. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just buy and sell products, making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. A lot of our time is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the ledgers. The office has a very traditional feel, with old desks and stacks of paperwork everywhere. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our job well and keep our regular customers happy. Sometimes shipments get delayed because of traffic or weather, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It's a practical, local business that has been part of the Kalbadevi fabric for years. We just keep our heads down and work.
