You can find us at Shop No 30 along Unnat Nagar Road in Goregaon West. We’re pretty close to the Silver Metropolis building and the Western Express Highway, so it gets quite busy around here with people commuting. The store is just a regular general store where we keep all the things people might need for their daily lives. We have shelves full of soaps, snacks, and basic household items. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible into the shop. I’m usually behind the counter from early morning until we close at night. It’s a lot of standing and chatting with the neighbors who stop by for a loaf of bread or some milk. We’ve been here for a good while and know most of the people who live nearby. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit when they bring our stock, which can be a headache, but we sort it out. The shop isn't fancy at all, just a practical place to buy your groceries. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of fans that keep the air moving. It’s a simple life, running a shop like this. We just keep the shelves stocked and help the customers find what they are looking for. It’s steady work and we like being part of the community here. Most days are fine, even if the traffic outside gets a bit too loud for comfort sometimes.
