Ascot Fashions

We are based in G-15 of the Bombay Market Apartments in Tardeo. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character. Ascot Fashions has been in this space for quite a while. Being in Tardeo means we are right in the middle of everything. The market outside is always full of energy and noise. Inside our unit, it's a bit quieter, but we’re always moving. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our samples and files. We deal with a lot of different people coming through. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs to the ground floor. We don't try to look like a big corporation. We’re just a small group of people working in the fashion trade. We have stacks of boxes waiting to be sent out and fabric swatches pinned to the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time. We’ve survived here for years by just doing the work. We don't go in for big speeches. We just make sure the garments are right. Tardeo is a tough place to work sometimes because of the crowds, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Our desks are cluttered and the coffee is usually cold by the time we drink it, but that's just our way of life. We focus on the zippers, the buttons, and the fabric.
