Arshiya International Ltd.

Our office is over in Andheri East, specifically at Arshiya House on the 3rd floor of plot 61. It is tucked away in Road No. 13 in the M.I.D.C. area. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know the traffic can be a real headache around lunch. We have been in this building for quite a while. The elevator is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs if we are in a rush. Inside, it is just a lot of desks and people talking on phones. We deal with a lot of international paperwork and shipping details. It gets pretty loud when everyone is busy. The 3rd floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is mostly just more industrial buildings and delivery vans. We usually get our tea from the guy downstairs who has a small stall. It is not a flashy place, just a workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the construction nearby. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and tracking orders. People come and go all day. It’s a bit cramped with all the files we have to keep, but we know where everything is. Being in M.I.D.C. means we are close to everything we need for the business. It’s just our daily routine here. We usually head home once the sun goes down and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit. It is not an easy commute for most of us, but we have been doing it so long that it feels normal now.
