Arome Dry Fruit Stores

The shop is over in Santacruz at the Central Tower I in Wakdewadi 3. We have been running Arome Dry Fruit Stores for a good bit now. Mostly it is just about keeping the bins full and making sure the nuts and dried fruits look okay. It can get pretty busy during the festival times when everyone wants a box of something but on normal Tuesdays it is just us and the regulars. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and putting them into bags. The air in here always smells like roasted almonds or sometimes spices if we have those out. It is a bit cramped once you get a few customers in at the same time. We try to keep the glass counters clean but fingerprints always show up anyway. Working in a tower like this means we see a lot of office people coming down for a snack during their breaks. We just keep the shelves stocked and the floor swept. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and we have to stay a bit longer to unload everything. It is just a regular shop where we do our work. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just selling dry fruits to people who live or work nearby. It gets the job done and keeps us occupied throughout the week. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are quiet and watch the people walk by. It is just how we spend our time.
